Rachel Rene Hernandez
Ms. Hernandez is from the small town of Port Lavaca, Texas. She graduated Cum Laude from St. Edward's University in Austin, where she was part of the varsity tennis team. She then received her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and began her career prosecuting domestic violence cases as a prosecutor with the Travis County Attorney's Office. After working for Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa as a Policy Analyst, she began focusing her career on family law in 2006. As an associate attorney, she has gained invaluable experience working with Rick Kennon and Kelly Capps. She received collaborative law training to complement her litigation background. She is competitive yet compassionate.
She is married and has two children and two Jack Russell terriers.
