With over 25 years of legal experience, Ruth possesses a unique blend of knowledge across numerous fields of law with a focus on family law. Ruth is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Her legal career began in the District Attorney's Office where she helped create and set up the Criminal Intake Division and several years later she became the Victim/Witness Coordinator and worked with victims of violent crimes. Ruth relies on her own life experiences to help others through their family law situations, and she is truly an advocate for our clients. She is a member of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas and she is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. Ruth is a volunteer with Art From the Streets and she volunteers with Volunteer Legal Services. Ruth and her husband, Jeff, have two teenage boys who keep them busy with football and lacrosse. In her free time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her family, painting, reading and she always has a camera in her hand.
